I was born on a foggy evening 23rd September 1972 in the Netherlands. My real name is Angelique but friends and family
call me Liek. I'm born and raised in the Netherlands and I will probably stay here for the rest of my life even though
I would love to emigrate for many different reasons. I was always a happy kid but kind of a loner, you could say I was
different than the rest. I've never followed the crowd and didn't care much about trends and such. I love all kinds of
people but I have a problem with people that don't have their own opinion and I hate it if people don't tell me what they
really think, better yet how they really feel. I don't judge people by raise, religion or sexual interest but I do judge
people that try to be someone else! I am open minded and friends and family say I'm a nice non-complicated person as long
as people don't step on my heart or try to make my life miserable. If they do I can be very hateful.
I
am a happy single mom now. I was already pregnant when we where planning our marriage. Unfortunately I've had a miscarriage after 16 weeks. It was hard and I
thought I would never have children at all. Mixed feelings overwhelmed me when I was pregnant for the second time, but for some reason
it felt better than the first time. On 31 January 2000 after 32 hours of real hard work I gave birth to a perfectly healthy boy named
Kevin. He's a happy and gorgeous kid with sometimes a bit too much temper. Must be something he has from his dad
A year after that I was pregnant again but I also lost that baby after 8 weeks. We gave up trying and felt blessed that we had the
privilege to have just one healthy boy. After 4 years it was a mayor surprise to both of us when I noticed I was pregnant again and
19 September 2005 after 7 hours of hard work I gave birth to our second son
Bo. He's just as gorgeous as his older brother with
also a bit too much of a temper already but I'm proud to tell that
Kevin &
Bo are my best creations ever
:: FAQ? ::
Q: Why are your pictures so small and why do all your images have a © watermark?
A: To try and protect them from being copied
by others. My works has been stolen so many times before that I've lost count.
Even worse, my work has been copied and sold by others so please try and
understand my reasons for this. Here is a small
list of some of the ones I've tracked down if your interested.
Q: What do you want to accomplish with your photography and art?
A: Nothing at all! This is all just a hobby that got a little out of hand. But I did accomplish a couple of
things I'm really proud of.
Q: Can I buy the exclusive rights for your work(s)?
A: Yes, if you make a serious offer. I do however stay the copyright holder of the work at all times.
Q: Do you do commission works?
A: Yes, you can find some
here.
Feel free to contact me if you have a serious request.
Q: Will you design a CD cover for me?
A: Yes but only if your willing to pay for it. Yes I know how hard it is for musicians that are working hard. Try being an
artist... I'll bet it's worse. Feel free to contact me if you have a serious request.
Q: I have some personal pictures, could you please turn them into a manipulation for me?
A: No sorry, the time it takes to make a manipulation isn't something you can put into a price.
Q: Can I use your art works/photography on my blog/website/signature/brushes/tubes and everything else I want to use it for?
A: If you can answer all following questions with yes, than please do.
* Do you have a personal non profit website?
* Did you give me credit for the art work on each page you've used it?
* Did you include a link to www.brunas.nl and ©Angelique Brunas on the same page my
work is displayed?
* Are you sure you did not alter (recolor - crop - resize - added text - added brushes etc.) my images?
* Are you sure you didn't put them up for others to download as free images?
Q: How do you make your pictures look so good, do you have some tips and tricks for me?
A: I'm terrible in explaining how I do my things and besides that every
picture needs something else before I post it. I could never explain everything
I do.
Q: Explain to me how you've made your layouts, pictures and art work(s).
A: I couldn't even if I wanted to. There are not just a few basic steps to take... it's something different every time. Besides
that, some images are build with over 100 layers... how in the world could I ever explain that
My advise would be to surf around, get inspired by others, read tutorials but try to be ORIGINAL!
It's not a crime to get inspired by someone's work but it is a crime to steal or
copy it, that's not something to be proud of. It's your
website... your art, people want to get to know you by visiting your site, they don't want to see things or content they
can find all over the www. You want your visitors to come back for more don't you?¿?
Q: Where did you get those cute little smilies?
A: I've made them myself and no, you can not just take them.
Q: Where can I find the font you use?
A: I use way to many fonts to answer that question
.

The pixel train was launched in October 2002. I had to close it to save
myself some time but many people still know me from this popular site. It was a cute way to meet new friends and exchange links (wagons).
